U.S. immigration policy surrounding Temporary Protected Status (TPS) continues to shift rapidly. As of October 3, 2025, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued updated guidance on countries whose TPS designations have been terminated, extended, or temporarily reinstated. These updates affect work authorization validity (EAD), registration deadlines, and legal stay for thousands of immigrants.

  • Honduras

  • Nepal

  • Nicaragua

Applicants should closely monitor USCIS announcements for further updates, as the situation may change again depending on upcoming court rulings.
